I really suck at interviews.. I don't think I have ever gotten a job based on a formal interview. This is solely because I suck at them. Application forms, brilliant, I can do those, but why do I have to then go in and talk to a panel of judges who ask me made up questions that don't reflect how I would deal with things actually in the real world because I wouldn't have 3 people looking at me waiting for an answer that exact moment?!!
Interviewer 1: So Lucy, please tell us what you would do to deal with this bullsh*t.
Lucy: Hmm, well... (enter bullsh*t and waffle here).
Interviewer 2: Yes, but what would you actually do?!
Lucy: (F***ck I thought I just told you!!) Hmm, well... (panic, try different bullsh*t and waffle)
I would have been bloody brilliant at that job, I was the ideal candidate, but did I get it across to those mofo's? Did I heck.
Well, as everyone keeps telling me, it is all experience.. meanwhile I have to stay on at these 2 rubbishy jobs. Nevermind, c'est la vie, non?!
Interviews are totally non-realistic and bear almost no relevance to how good you might be at the job. Interviewers mainly make up their mind about a candidate in the first few seconds, the rest is waffle. Treat it like the game it is.
